American Mastiff

Average: 4.8 (4 votes)

Developed by a farmer from Ohio, the American Mastiff came from cross breeding of an English Mastiff with an Anatolian Mastiff to produce a tighter lower lip line so not as much drool is produced, which is custom with most breeds of mastiff. The large, powerful breed stands at 28 to 36 inches and weighs 140 to 200 pounds. The American Mastiff loves children and is totally devoted to its family.
