The Aussiedoodle is a hybrid breed that is the result of crossing a Standard Poodle with an Australian Shepherd. Though sometimes the name can be misleading, the Aussiedoodle is not always 50% Australian Shepherd and 50% Poodle. The small yet muscular breed weighs 25 to 70 pounds and stands 14 to 23 inches tall. Since an Aussiedoodle has inherited some herding traits they may be prone to some herding tendencies, but that does not mean the breed is a herding animal. They do best with a fair amount of exercise and time around family.
