Bruno Jura hound

No votes yet

The hound-type breed was developed in the Middle Ages for hunting in the Jura Mountains along the Swiss-French border. The broad head and heavy wrinkles of the Bruno Jura hound differentiate them from other hound breeds. An adult Bruno Jura hound can weigh 34 to 44 pounds and stand 17 to 23 inches tall. Known most for being skilled scent-followers, a firm handle is needed if this breed is only a companion.
