Dingo

Average: 3.7 (9 votes)

The breed is a wild animal brought to Australia by primitive man, over 4000 years ago. Today, it is the ancestor of over 600 true breeds. The Dingo is very rare outside of Australia except in wildlife parks and zoos. The wild breed stands 19 to 23 inches and weighs 50 to 70 pounds, though there have been dogs weighing up to 120 pounds documented. The Dingo is not recommended for apartment life, but can be taken into families that have a good fenced back yard, and are prepared for some wild behaviors.
