English White Terrier

Average: 4.7 (3 votes)

The breed was first seen in England during the 18th century where breeders were competing to create a prick-eared terrier that really had no distinction from the drop-eared terriers. The decline of the difference in breeds within 30 years of appearing has caused the English White Terrier to go extinct but their bloodlines can be traced in Bull Terriers and the Boston Terrier. The size and weight of the breed has always been quite variable so a standard was never established.
