Eskimo Dog

Average: 5 (1 vote)

The breed is as old as 10,000 years, where it can be found as a sled and hunting dog near the Arctic Circle. The powerfully built Eskimo Dog weighs 60 to 105 pounds and stands 20 to 27 inches tall. Quite possibly, the Eskimo Dog is the breed most tolerant to cold. Since the breed is used to being outside and also working hard, it might not be a great choice as a house pet but it may be possible with obedience classes and a firm owner.
