Goldmaraner

The Goldmaraner is a hybrid or designer breed that is the result of crossing a Weimaraner with a Golden Retriever. Because of the commonness of multi-generation breeding it is not always guaranteed that the breed will be 50% of each parent breed. To most accurately determine the Goldmaraner's characteristics, it is best to study the parent dogs.

We have a six month old Goldmaraner, and she is a fabulous dog. She's all black and really smart, responds well to training, and is affectionate and great with kids. The short coat is a bonus but she does have high exercise needs so a daily walk is needed. Besides being gorgeous she's a quiet dog! We'd had her about a month and realized she hadn't even barked. She does bark of course, but usually only at intruder type noises or stuff happening in the neighborhood. I can really recommend this breed - she's the perfect dog:)
