Halden Hound
The Halden Hound is one of the three Norwegian hare hounds developed in the 1900s and is also the smallest. The medium-sized Norwegian dog breed weighs 40 to 55 pounds and stands 17 to 22 inches tall. The Halden Hound is very loving and affectionate towards its family but still is a great hunting breed. The breed does best with a family that has a large yard or area for exercise.
