Havamalt

Average: 3 (2 votes)

The Havamalt is not a purebred dog, but a hybrid that is the result of crossing a Havanese with a Maltese. Since the breed is hybrid the name may sometimes be misleading, because it is not a guarantee that all of the dogs will be of 50/50 bloodlines due to the commonness of multi-generation breeding. The breed is a mix, therefore the most accurate way to determine their characteristics would be to research the parent breeds.

Does the Havamalt have anal-glands that need to be taken care of? And if so, how young before they need to be attended to?
