Hellenic Hound

While a native to Greece, the Hellenic Hound was first developed from hounds brought by the ancient Phoneticians to Egypt. The medium sized hunting hound weighs 37 to 45 pounds and stands 18 to 22 inches tall. The breed is truly loyal and will do anything to protect its master. Also, the breed responds well to all living situations, while children seem to be one of their favorite play mates.
