Hyena

Average: 4.8 (4 votes)

It is believed that the Hyena originated over 26 million years ago from arboreal ancestors. Today the Hyaenidae consist of 4 different living species: the Striped Hyena, the Brown Hyena, the Spotted Hyena, and the Aardworf. Today the Hyena is the dominant scavenger of the animal world, even though their sizes varies so greatly. Many cultures associate Hyena negatively due to their uncleanliness and gluttony. While the most horrendous act of the dog is their likeliness of digging up graves. Currently, the species is thriving, therefore no studies have been fully done.
