Average: 4 (1 vote)

The Mudhol Hound is native to the Deccan plateau of India where it was first introduced by Asian traders and merchants as an offshoot breed of the Saluki. The independent hound is a keen hunter standing 23 to 29 inches tall and weighing an average of 100 pounds. Being a scent hound, the Mudhol Hound needs a large amount of exercise and is best suited in a tropical climate with a big, fenced yard.
