Rastreador Brasileiro

The breed originated in Brazil but quickly disappeared due to an outbreak of disease in the 1960s, but today the Rastreador Brasileiro is in attempt to be recreated. The breed is/was known as a hunting dog of the scent hound type. The large, working breed stands 24 to 28 inches tall and the weight is in accordance to the height. The Rastreador Brasileiro have even tempers and also making good working dogs or pets.
