Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz

Average: 5 (2 votes)

Hundreds of years ago, Fox Terriers were brought over to the Sherry making region of Spain by English merchants, who then cross bred with native dogs to produce a breed that could control the vermin population. The lively, medium sized breed weighs 15 to 17 pounds and stands an average of 40 centimeters tall. The Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz has a strong hunting instinct, but is also very friendly, making the breed a good pick for children.
