Sakhalin Husky

The breed reigns from Japan where they were used as sled dogs but today are rarely seen. The Spitz type breed weighs 66 to 88 pounds and stands 22 to 26 inches tall. The breed generally responds well to training and when properly socialized and trained the Sakhalin Husky does very well with the family, children, and other animals, due to the fact the the breed has a need to be in a pack.
