Tahltan Bear Dog

The Tahltan Bear Dog is a breed that was indigenous to Canada, but now is believed to be extinct. The breed is thought of as mighty power in a small package, they were strong enough to attack a bear but still gentle enough to live among other animals and humans peacefully. The breed flourised with a minimal diet and extreme cold, so when white explorers came to the area, the Tahltan Bear Dog became diluted and later extinct.
