Tamaskan dog

Average: 5 (4 votes)

The breed originated in Finland during the early 1980s with the aim to create a dog that looked like a wolf, but that was highly intelligent and had good working ability. The large working dog weighs 40 to 99 pounds and stands 24 to 28 inches tall. The Tamaskan dog is a great companion and family breed, they do very well with children and other animals, being very protective of their whole family. The breed is very active and needs a large amount of exercise. This makes apartment life unsuitable for the Tamaskan dog.
