The Telomian is a primitive breed from Malaysia, and though rare, it is the only breed from that country that is seen outside of its native country. The breed is small with an enlongated back, the Telomian weighs 18 to 28 pounds and stands 15 to 18 inches tall. The Telomian was originally bred to hunt and capture vermin, but they also had a special characteristics, a blue tongue and the ability to climb. It is believed that acquired the ability to climb because their masters built their houses on stilts.
