Welsh Sheepdog

The breed comes from Wales where they were used as a only a hunting dog and their looks were disregarded. The medium sized Welsh Sheepdog weighs 35 to 44 pounds and stands at an average of 18 inches. Since the breed was created specifically for their herding abilities, the Welsh Sheepdog has not been ruined by humans or inbreeding, making them one of the most superior herding breeds. Also, along with their great herding abilities, they are very loving and affectionate towards their family.
