Ariege Pointer

The breed was developed in the 20th century in the Ariege region of the Pyrenees where they were used especially for hunting. This primarily hunting dog weighs 55 to 66 pounds and stands at 24 to 26 inches tall. The Ariege Pointer is a pointing gun type hunter and is not formulated to be a family pet or show dog.
