Bluetick Coonhound

Average: 4.2 (6 votes)

Selective breeding in Louisiana produced the Bluetick Coonhound which is now the state dog of Tennessee. The large, scent hound stands at 20 to 27 inches tall and weighs 45 to 80 pounds. The Bluetick Coonhound is great with older children and do need a sufficiently big amount of exercise as they were bred specifically for long hunting expeditions.
