Bulldog
This breed more than likely originated in the British Isles and was named the bull dog because of its affiliation with bull-baiting. This indoor breed weighs between 50 and 55 pounds and stands at 12 to 16 inches tall. Bulldogs aren't your ordinary lap dogs, but would like to be!
