This breed arrived in Cardiganshire with the Celts in 1200 B.C., where they were used for driving cattle around the small bits of land the crown gave to commoners. Cardigan Welsh Corgi come in a variety of colors and range from 10 to 13 inches tall and weigh between 25 and 28 pounds. Adaptable to most accommodations, this breed needs exercise to be a happy companion.
