Average: 3.3 (4 votes)

Known as the American Dingo, the wild Carolina Dog was discovered in the 1970's around the Savannah River in South Carolina. When studied they were indistinguishable from other Dingo type breeds from Korea and Australia. The medium-sized fawn colored dog stand at 17 to 24 inches and weigh 30 to 44 pounds. Future genetic testing will give more insight on the breed's history and temperament.
