Cirneco dell'Etna

Average: 5 (2 votes)

The small hound-type breed reigns from Sicily where it was used for hunting rabbit where it was shaped by nature to work rigorously for long periods without food or water. The first impression of the Cirneco dell'Etna is its stunning chestnut color, pricked ears, and long muzzle. The small, wise-looking hound stands at 17 to 20 inches and weighs 22 to 26 pounds. Cirneco dell'Etna are low maintenance and friendly but still need regular exercise.
