Average: 4.7 (3 votes)

In 1955 an experiment took place in the C S S R of that time that crossed a German Shepherd with a Carpathian wolf to that the breed possessed the favorable qualities of a dog without the unfavorable qualities of a wolf. The large, healthy breed weighs 44 to 54 pounds and stands between 24 and 26 inches. The Czechoslovakian Wolfdog does well with families that can provide a large amount of exercise and is suited for cold climates.
