We have had 2 beautiful liver colored german short hairs. The mother was an incredible hunter and passed it on to her daughter, who is now 9yrs old and has become our house dog. Zoey has a wonderful personality and has been very easy to train but she did have a lot of energy her first couple of years. She is fantasic with children of all ages She's very much a family dog and needs lots of activity in her life, so dont expect this bred to lay around and be lazy all day
