Griffon Bruxellois

Average: 3 (1 vote)

The breed first became popular in the 1800s in Belgium where they were used in barns to rid the land of rodents, where later popularity increased greatly because of Queen Marie Henriette's fondness of dog shows and the particular breed. The small Griffon Bruxellois stand 7 to 8 inches tall and weigh 8 to 10 pounds. The breed is very sensitive, while having a huge heart and great liking for snuggling with their owners.
