Hanover Hound

Average: 2 (1 vote)

The breed descended from the bloodlines of medieval hounds and was first introduced in the 1980s in France, where it is used for tracking and hunting. The rare brindled Hanover Hound stands at 18 to 22 inches and weighs 80 to 99 pounds. Like most working breeds, the Hanover Hound does best with lost of room to run and exercise, but the breed is still calm and loving towards its family.
