Irish Red and White Setter

Average: 5 (1 vote)

The Irish Red and White Setter has been known in Ireland since the 17th century and almost went extinct, due to the popularity of its solid red cousin, but came back in the 1940s to be a strong breed again. The breed was made especially for the field, so they are very athletic standing at 22 to 26 inches tall and weighing between 50 and 75 pounds. Irish Red and White Setter's friendly attitude make them perfect family dogs.
