Japanese Terrier

The Japanese Terrier is native to the country of Japan, where they were developed in the 18th century to produce a breed with finer lines. The breed is rare outside of Japan today, because of the effects of World War II. The small, compact breed weighs 6 to 9 pounds and stands 11 to 13 inches tall. The Japanese Terrier is very lively and fun, they require a fairly large amount of exercise to be happy.
