The King Charles Yorkie is not a purebred breed, but a hybrid that is the result of crossing a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Yorkshire Terrier. The King Charles Yorkie is a fairly new and unknown mixed breed, therefore no standards will be set, but to best understand the breed it is best to research the parent breeds.
