Kintamani

The exact origin of the breed cannot be found, but what is known is that sometime between the 12th and 16th century a Chow Chow was brought to Northern Bali and was mixed with a Balinese feral dog to produce the Kintamani. Known primarily as an average village dog, Kintamani stand 15 to 21 inches tall and are now sought after as popular house pets in Indonesia. The breed is fiercely independent but are very loving with families, while most Kintamani prefer sitting or sleeping the day away.
