Labradoodle

The Labradoodle is not a purebred breed, but a hybrid or designer breed that is the result of crossing a Poodle with a Labrador Retreiver. The Labradoodle was first bred in Australia to make a therapy dog that had the train-ability of a Labrador with the hypoallergenic coat of the Poodle. The breed does not have standards set, because it can vary greatly, therefore to most accurately determine them it is best to research the parent breeds.

I have 2 labradoodles and they both shed like crazy. Being half Labrador you cannot guarantee that your doodle will be non shedding, and they change their coat at around 18 months, so even if a pup is non-shedding, the adult may not be.
