Peke-A-Tese

The Peke-A-Tese is not a purebred dog, but a hybrid breed that is the result of crossing a Pekingese with a Maltese. Because of the popularity of multi-generation breeding, the dog may not always be 50% of each parent breed. The toy breed Peke-A-Tese can weigh 6 to 12 pounds, but because the breed is a mix, characteristics can vary. To best determine the breed, it is most helpful to research the parent breed.
