The Sage Koochee is an Afghan breed named after the Kuchi people of Afghanistan. This breed followed around the nomads and were used as a guard and working dog. The breed is large, often giant, the Sage Koochee weighs 84 to 176 pounds and stands 28 to 35 inches tall. The breed has a very rich gene pool that makes them extremely adaptable to most living environments, but it also makes it hard to know if its a pure breed. The Sage Koochee is unmatched in strength, agility, and courage, while being a very loving and devoted companion to humans. The breed is still highly unmanageable and needs constant supervision and socialization.
