Tenterfield Terrier

No votes yet

The breed was first developed in Europe in the 1800s by cross breeding Standard Fox Terriers (smooth haired) with the Manchester Black and Tan and the English Toy Terrier, although the type seen today was developed in Australia, making it the one of the only breeds from Australia. The strong, active Tenterfield Terrier stands 10 to 12 inches tall and the weight is in proportion to the height. The breed loves to be affectionate and cuddle in their owners laps, but don't let their small size fool you, they still need a sufficient amount of exercise.
