Toy Poodle
The original Poodle descended from Germany as a water retrieval dog, where in the 18th century they were bred down to a smaller size that became more desirable by royalty. The extensively groomed Toy Poodle stands up to 10 inches and weighs 6 to 9 pounds. Unless given rules and limits, the breed tends to bark a lot.

I love my toy poodle and I will admit it. I am a 27 year old man. I have always had medium to big dogs. When she was brought into my life my heart just melted. Very smart and easy to train. LOVES my nieces and nephews which I am glad because one of my nephews is autistic and they get along great. She does bark a lot however she is a dog watch dog.
