West Highland White Terrier

The breed originated in Poltalloch, Scotland where it first earned that name Poltalloch Terrier, but upon coming to America the named was changed to West Highland White Terrier in 1909. The bright, white terrier stands at 9 to 12 inches tall and weighs 13 to 22 pounds. The West Highland White Terrier makes an affectionate companion for any family.
