Yankee Bull Terrier

Average: 3 (2 votes)

The breed is a variety of bull and terrier mixes that was developed in the 1800s by Irish, Scottish, and English immigrants that wanted a taller and larger dog. The Yankee Bull Terrier was then used for dog fighting, protecting, guarding, and hunting. The large, muscular breed weighs 22 to 110 pounds and stands 17 to 22 inches tall. The breed is an almost identical cousin of the Yankee Terrier as well. Though the Yankee Bull Terrier may be seen as a ferocious fighting dog, they are still very friendly and loving with all of their family members.
