Argentine Dogo

Average: 4.3 (11 votes)

In 1920, the breed was developed by two brothers from Argentina who wanted a simple companion with good hunting and guarding abilities. Later in life the Argentine Dogo's reputation was dropped down to mere fighter, in 1991 the dog was totally banned in Britain; When really a dog only becomes that way because of its owners. This white mastiff type dog stands at 24 to 27 inches and weighs 80 to 100 pounds. This breed is definitely not for everyone.
