Barbet

The breed is a French water dog that is an integral part of many breeds history because many other breeds can be traced back to having Barbet bloodlines. The medium-sized, all around working breed stands at 20 to 25 inches and weighs 35 to 60 pounds. The Barbet knows how to work but is very obedient with family while they enjoy children, families, and the elderly.
