Beauceron
This breed is originated in France, where they were used as a herding dog. As a herding dog it is preferred for its tireless work ethic. Beauceron coats vary in black and tan colors, stand at 24 to 28 inches tall, and weigh between 65 to 100 pounds, making them great guard dogs. When raised with a family this particular breed does well, but tends to keep the herding dog mentality.
