Chinese Crested

Average: 4.2 (5 votes)

Chinese mariners first carried this breed on the boats to stow below the crest to hunt vermin, but by mid-nineteenth century they were seen in European art. Chinese Crested come in 2 different types, those bearing hair and those that are hairless. The small breed weighs in at under 10 pounds and stands at around 12 inches. The hairless variety are prone to many skin irritations, but they make great companions for any family, preferably gentle people.

Hi,

I am writing in regarding to your Chinese Crested page. I noticed that you don't have a picture of a Chinese Crested Powderpuff which is covered with hair and hypoallergenic. There are GREAT dogs and are THE BEST kept secret in the small dog world. I do see a terrible looking picture of a hairless. This breed has gotten enough bad publicity already. I would be interested in sending you a picture of a American/Canadian Champion Powderpuff for you to consider on your website.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration in this matter.
