Ciobanesc de Bucovina

This original Romanian shepherd has been used for centuries by herdsman to guard and protect their flocks. While today the breed is more common among city dwellers that use them as guardians, and all around pets. The excellent watch dog stands at 25 to 30 inches and weighs in accordance with its size. The Ciobanesc de Bucovina loves to play outside but once they sense danger, the all low tonality of the bark can be heard from long distances.
