Collie
The absolute origin of the Collie is unknown, but they have existed for centuries as herding dogs in England and Scotland. The breed became increasingly popular along with fashionable in the 1860s when Queen Victoria fell in love with the particular dog. This medium size breed needs daily exercise, because they can easily become couch potatoes. A Collie weighs between 50 and 75 pounds and stands at 22 to 26 inches tall.
