Greenland Dog

Average: 5 (2 votes)

The very rare breed originated in the Arctic regions as far back as 12,000 years ago where the Inuit people most likely used wolves for the father breeding. The active, independent Greenland dog stands at 22 to 25 inches and weighs 66 to 70 pounds. The breed does not do well in a small house or apartment because they need fresh air and much room to run around.
