Griffon Bleu de Gascogne

The breed descended from crosses of the Bleu de Gascogne and the Griffon Nervasis in France where they were used for their superior scent, voice, and hunting abilities. The medium to large sized Griffon Bleu de Gascogne weighs 36 to 40 pounds and stands 19 to 24 inches tall. The versatile breed is highly excitable but very affectionate towards the family.
