Serbian Hound

During the 11th century the scent hounds spread through the Balkans where they are still very popular. They are rare outside the breed's native country. The robust, medium-sized Serbian Hound weighs an average of 40 pounds and stands 17 to 22 inches tall. The breed is kind and lively, and does well with children and other animals when properly socialized, but the Serbian Hound may be hard to train.
